Isabelle and Raphael met in 2019 on a *flight heading to Singapore. On their first date in Manila at Shangri-La, Raphael asked Isabelle if she wanted to get married. Little did she know that he was actually already asking her. For Raphael, it was love at first sight—he knew the moment he first saw her that she’s the one. After dinner, he messaged her, “The chemistry was undeniable” to which Isabelle agreed. Despite having a long distance relationship where they didn’t see each other for nearly one whole year, their unwavering love and support for one another grew even stronger. *More humorous details will be shared at the reception.

Why the Philippines?
We share a deep passion for exploring the World and experiencing new cultures and trying new food. During our planning process, we strongly considered having our wedding in Morocco, Provence, or Capri. But at the end of the day, the Philippines always felt perfect as many of our family and friends have either never been to the country or it has been 5, 10, and even 20 years since they have been home.Â
Our wedding celebration is not just about us—it’s also a reunion, a vacation, a discovery, making new friends, and a showcase of our vibrant, bustling, and beautiful country we will forever call home—the Philippines.
